About this program
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is an English test recognized by universities in many countries, from the UK and Australia to Singapore. Results come as a band score, and each university or course sets its own minimum.
This class trains all four sections of the test: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Students practise with IELTS-format questions, learn a strategy for each section, and get feedback on Writing and Speaking, the two hardest to practise alone.
What students learn
- Listening: following conversations and talks in different accents
- Reading: reading fast and answering IELTS question types
- Writing: clear structure for Task 1 and Task 2
- Speaking: interview practice with direct feedback
- Vocabulary & grammar for a higher band
- Full test simulations with review
Who this program is for
- Senior-high students preparing for university abroad
- Scholarship applicants who need an IELTS score
- Anyone who needs an IELTS score for study or work
Frequently asked questions
When should IELTS prep start?
Ideally 6–12 months before university application deadlines, leaving room for a retake if needed.
What score do I need?
It depends on the university and course. Check the requirement at your target university, and we build the target and practice plan from there.
IELTS Academic or General Training?
For university admission it is almost always Academic. General Training is mainly for work or migration. Listening and Speaking are the same in both, while Reading and Writing differ.
Does Eureka run the IELTS test itself?
No. The official test is run by the British Council and IDP. Our job is to get students ready for it.
